If you're gonna leave just go on You can keep the car I can't live with this love in between If you're gonna leave just go on Get out of view Just be sure and take my memory with you Make sure now every time take my my memory with you I don't know the same people We used to know There's no way I can find someone new And I don't go to them same places We used to go And I still keep a memory of you Every damned single time I keep a memory of you No more blaming, complaining It takes all my time No more believing 'Cause there's no happy ending this time Lead No more blaming, complaining It takes all my time No more believing 'Cause there's no happy ending this time Now if you're gonna leave just go on You can keep the car There's no way I can live with a love in between If you're gonna leave just go on Get out of my view And be sure to take my memory with you Make sure now every time takes my memory with you Every damned single time take my memory of you

I kneel in prayer on broken glass Beg in hopes this too will pass Your love for life in the long ago Is someone you don't even know Your effervescent lust for life Loses luster overnight Your tightly orchestrated plan Wanders off it's course again And with every battle lost You get you deserve You'll never make the big time 'Cause you haven't got the nerve A place to call your own Someone to really love These ordinary riches Is the stuff your dreams are made of You stumble through another day Your get up and go has gone away Your right to pass has left you down A marionette, a robot clown Please try and make some sense of this Shoot the hoop and swing and miss The pressure's going through the roof You're emotionally destitute And with every battle lost You get you deserve You'll never make the big time 'Cause you haven't got the nerve A place to call your own Someone to really love These ordinary riches Is the stuff your dreams are made of The stuff your dreams are made of The stuff your dreams are made of

I always held my own nobody ever had to provide for me Then I got all tied up and I couldn't seem to find the opportunity Just looking for some way to get through And thankful that I still have you I'll jump off that bridge when I get to it I might be down but I'm not dead yet Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring So I'm not gonna worry 'bout anything I was doing okay then I got myself into another big mess Sometimes its hard to remember all the times and the ways That I've been blessed Now my troubles all can stand in line 'Cause tonight I'm gonna have a good time I'll jump off that bridge when I get to it I might be down but I'm not dead yet Nobody knows what tomorrow could bring So I'm not gonna worry 'bout anything Its just a show no one really knows what tomorrow brings I try and try and I never have the time to do anything Just waiting for my ship to sail in Then I watch it sail out again I'll jump off that bridge when I get to it I might be down but I' not there yet Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring So I'm not gonna worry 'bout anything

I want the kind of love that makes you Want to crawl inside her skin Its a feeling that consumes you Like a fire from within You'll give up all of your possessions Its a full time obsession And you don't care if you're acting like a fool I want that kind of love Romeo and Juliet Had a love that ended bad But they gave away their lives Rather than lose the love they had It can makes you kind of crazy It.s so totally captivating That you know you'll take it With you to your grave I want that kind of love It leaves you helpless There's nothing you can do But surrender to the power That has cast it's spell on you No sorcerer or magician Could ever satisfy these wishes I want to do the things that lovers do I want that kind of love

Once upon a time long ago and far away A storybook line was torn apart in just a day You shattered some dreams you never know what's inside The outside is thick and there's so much that you can hide Nobody said it was gonna be easy No one said it was going to be Sometimes you got to take it in your hands And make it all the things you see You think you know someone but you never really know Like an eclipse of the sun the darkness falls on another soul Just what was on his mind he hid in in so well Not even a sign and no way that you could tell Nobody said it was gonna be easy No one said it was going to be Sometimes you got to take it like a man And make it all the things you see Lead Once upon a time long ago and far away A storybook line was torn apart in just a day You shattered some dreams you never know what's inside Our outside is thick and there's so much that we can hide Nobody said it was gonna be easy No one said it was going to be Sometimes you git to take in your hands And make it everything you see Yes make it every thing you see

The clouds overflowed and the rain came down You could see right away it was swim or drown There was so much water coming down from the sky That you felt pretty good just staying alive There was rolling thunder and hail on the roof The hail was big as a baseball I'm telling the truth For a while I was ready to get in my boat And see how much of my life I could float It was pouring it was roaring It was the storm of the century I got an idea just how bad it could be When I saw some cows floating down the street And giant old oak trees just torn by the roots It came down in buckets man it came down in chutes And before the people could sound the alarm A thousand were homeless because of that storm And as the sirens all filled the air Someone said it sounded just like a war We were waging it was raging It was the storm of the century Lead It came down in sheets it was cats and dogs The water made matchsticks from giant logs And then an old-timer walked to me and said Son this is the storm of the century The Storm of the century

I took a walk on a hot summer's night One thought of you changed my outlook on life On the blackness of night sat a necklace of stars I made a wish for you though you were so far away And I swore that if I had the chance I'd put all of your wishes right there in your hand And I'd give you a box of moonlight A fire's glow on a winter's night A hopeful laugh that will chase your blues A well full of wishes that all come true And I would cool you in shadow And keep you safe from the suns glow Take all your wrongs and we'll make them right I would give you a box full of moonlight A box full of moonlight While I'm away I would like for you A basket of lazy afternoons And I'll think of you as I close my eyes Or reflect on a starry summer's night And I'll see your face by the rise of the moon And a present will bring, I will bring to you I'll give you a box of moonlight A fire's glow on a winter's night A hopeful laugh that will chase your blues A well full of wishes that all come true And I will cool you in shadow And keep you safe from the sun's glow Take all those wrongs and we'll make them right I'll give you a box full of moonlight A box full of moonlight And if you need a hero I could chase All those dragons in your head I would sweep you away on a ship full of gold And we'll sail off into the sunset I'll give you a box of moonlight A fire's glow on a winter's night A hopeful laugh that will shake your blues A well full of wishes that all come true And I will cool you in shadow And keep you safe when the winds blow Take all those wrongs and we'll make them right I'll give you a box full of moonlight A box full of moonlight

Life can be funny life can be sad I've had everything but money and that's not that bad I've had some rough times And I've had soft ones too Life can be hard but it's easy with you Sometimes it's pleasure sometimes it's a ball Sometimes we make it with nothing at all Just friends and good music to help see it through Life can be hard but it's easy with you Inside the cities outside the towns Seems like the whole world is all coming down Looking for the answer or someone to blame Going down that road will make you insane 'Lead Stuck in the middle eyes on the prize Going in circles can take all your time Always remember where you are from And everything that is old was at one time young So relax and be easy sit back and recline Take care of your problems on down the line Through good times and bad times and no money too Life can be hard but it's easy with you Life can be hard but it's easy with you Life can be hard but it's easy with you

Being in love is a lot like being at war You're out there on that battlefield And you've forgotten what you're fighting for I'm wondering just whose side you're marching on And if I let down my defenses Are you gonna drop the big one All's fair in love and war 4X And just like General George when he crossed that river I'll always find my way back to the front lines And home to you On all the promises made I will deliver Let's leave this battleground behind and Make all our dreams come true All's fair in love and war 5X Lead I'm asking you if you would sign this treaty What I want to do right now is just to Simply propose a truce Let us join our country and we'll make a super power Let our voices work together and just see What we could do 'Cause all's fair in love and war

There was always something good Going down in the neighborhood Always someone you could call There was always a party going on You could forget about your cares In those rooms up the stairs Back when music was king And Cochise had a room up there, we'd share Those times are gone my friend We won't go that way again We got down at the Caspar Inn We got down at the Caspar inn There's a room just off the stage Where the players all sign their names Some have moved on And others were lost on the way But you can still hear the blues played right The T Bones are getting down tonight JB and Lono and Mike are gonna make it tight that's right Those good ol' days are gone but There's still a party going on Down at the Caspar Inn Down at the Caspar Inn Lead And Coco wherever you are You'll always be a star That goes for Boo and Jim Noyes too And Buzzy who lived in his car And Bugs will always stay A giant in his own way There's always some great tracks from Lenny Laks He's not looking back The sounds are always good From the artist's known as Rogerwood Down at the Caspar Inn Down at the Caspar Inn Down at the Caspar Inn

about

Collection of my early recordings. I played most of the instruments and sang most of the vocals, with help from Katie Rose. These are some of my most treasured recordings though they are a little worn sonically due to age and wear. Kind of like me. I hope you enjoy these musical meanderings I've uploaded here they are right from my studio to your ears. Thanks.
